Appointments - booking advice

chdWe always try to meet patients’ needs and to adapt our services to suit your lifestyle. There is often high demand for urgent doctor appointments. We will always aim to help people immediately and to offer an appointment within 48 hours. However, it is not always possible to do so with the doctor of your choice in that timescale.

How to book

Appointments are available for urgent patients on the day and can also be booked many days ahead for routine matters by ringing 0161 426 5242.

Apart from arranging for you to see a GP or nurse, our receptionists can also offer you a telephone call back from a clinician to decide how we can help you.

Late & weekend surgeries

We have one late evening a week which is usually on a Monday evening till 8pm(GP/NURSE/HCA)for people who have problems seeing us during normal opening.  You can book ahead for these sessions for GP /nurse / HCA appointments. If you can come to the surgery during the day then please do not use the evening surgeries unless really necessary - these are mainly worker appointments. These include vaccinations, minor surgery - such as removal of lesions and cysts - and medical reviews. Ask reception for details.

If you are unable to attend in the week for routine smear appointments, BP's etc we can arrange for you to have an appointment at  Mastercall our out of hours provider on a Saturday / Sunday morning if this is convenient for you.  Please ask at reception for details.
