Among the many services we offer are free individual counselling sessions, minor surgery, family planning advice, coil fits, child development examinations, antenatal care, health visitors, podiatry,  holiday vaccinations .  Please ask reception for details 

Wellbeing and Self Care Service

Jean is at the practice every Wednesday and you can be referred to this service by any staff/GPs in the practice for the following reasons:-

  • Common mental health conditions (i.e. depression and anxiety)
  • Social isolation or lacking social support
  • Problems such as financial, housing debt, relational, substances
  • Frequent attenders/poorly managed long term conditions

First Contact Physiotherapist

Every Tuesday here at the practice we have appointments with Mike our First Contact Physiotherapist. Patients can be seen in this clinic if they have soft tissue, muscle or joint pain.

Please speak to reception or a clinician at the practice for referral to the above services.

Nurse care

Our practice nurse and health care assistants offer a wide range of

  • Chronic Disease Screening
  • Asthma and Diabetic Checks
  • HRT Advice
  • Cervical Smears
  • Blood and many other tests
  • Lifestyle, alcohol and other advice for children and adults. 

Nurse Appointments

These are available Monday to Friday and can be booked at reception. Our experienced nurse and healthcare team can give you advice and help with lifestyle, including helping you to stop smoking, dieting and improve your life for good.  


For patients who are due an annual asthma review.

Please would you answer the questions on review form and submit it to us.

If your symptoms are deteriorating or you have any concerns, please make an appointment to the respiratory nurse or a doctor as well.

Flu Vaccine for Asthma Patients

Asthma patients are entitled to the flu vaccine if you have been on steroid inhalers over the past 12 months. If you are not sure if yours is a steroid inhaler please check with the nurse/GP.

Urgent Foot Problems

You can now attend one of the urgent drop-in foot clinics if you are suffering with the following:

Swelling, Weeping from a wound, changes in skin colour to your feet.  There is no appoinment needed and you can attend any of the following clinics:

  • Kingsgate House 2nd Floor - Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 1.30pm - 3.30pm (Wellington Road North, Stockport).

These clinic times are all excluding Bank Holidays and you just drop in at any of them between the times shown.

If you need a routine podiatry appointment and you are already registered then please contact your local clinic.
