Please leave us 2 working days' notice to process your repeat prescriptions.
You can now use the link on this site to get them to us. Just follow the instructions carefully when you do it for the first time. Your details will then be set up for the next time. Alternatively you can access this via the NHS app but you do need photo identification.
You can also request repeat prescriptions at our reception, by post or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). You must make sure a request is sent to the surgery every month either by yourself or by arrangement with the Pharmacy.
Due to the possibility of errors and to help free up our phone lines for important calls- we do not accept prescription requests by phone unless under exceptional circumstances.
Chemists will also now deliver to you by prior arrangement which you must arrange yourself with your chosen chemist.
ELECTRONIC PRESCRIPTION SERVICE (EPS)
EPS enables prescribers - such as GPs - to send prescriptions electronically to a Pharmacy of your choice. This makes the prescribing and dispensing process more efficient and convenient for patients and staff. More info below or on the EPS website http://systems.hscic.gov.uk/eps/patients
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
